Coach Dagata is a renowned USATF Lead Coach with decades of experience developing world-class athletes across multiple disciplines. As a resident coach at the Olympic Training Center and a leader at top universities, he has guided Olympians, World Championship medalists, and collegiate champions. Now, his focus is on empowering the next generation of athletes through Olympian Elite—a program designed to foster excellence, discipline, and passion for sport. By combining elite-level training, mentorship, and holistic athlete development, Coach Dagata and Olympian Elite aim to help young athletes reach their full potential at the local, state, and national levels—while building the character and resilience to succeed beyond competition.

Coach Sally Hauser

Girls High School Coach

Sally Hauser is a Stanford alumna, All-American, and elite distance runner who competed professionally for Nike, bringing a deep passion for endurance training and athlete development.  Currently coaching at Menlo School, she has guided numerous successful teams and athletes to achieve excellence in cross country and track. Drawing from her collegiate and professional experience, Sally brings a balance of technical expertise, individualized coaching, and genuine mentorship to every athlete she works with. 

Coach MiLes Bennett-Smith

Boys High School Coach

Miles Bennett-Smith is a high-performance distance coach who helped lead Menlo School’s boys to the 2024 California State Championship and become the first Division V team to qualify for Nike Cross Nationals, finishing 15th in the nation. A former multi-sport athlete, state XC finalist, and Stanford graduate, he combines competitive experience with a grounded, approachable coaching style. He teaches History and Journalism at Menlo and still runs fast enough to train with — and sometimes beat — the boys he coaches.

Keith Larsen is a versatile multi-sport coach with experience leading athletes across cross country, track & field, volleyball, and middle school basketball. With a coaching style grounded in fundamentals, consistency, and athlete-first development, Keith brings steady guidance and well-rounded expertise to every team he leads. His ability to coach across disciplines reflects both his deep knowledge of sport and his commitment to helping young athletes build confidence, skill, and a love for competition.
